Only Israel, the United States, and a few U.S. allies, clients, and dependencies continued to deny recognition of the Palestinians as a people with the PLO as their legitimate representative. Prior to the collapse of the Soviet Union, the long-held position of the United States and Israel, combined with the rise in international influence of the Palestinians since 1967, often placed the U.S. government in an untenable position.

In “Deliberate Deceptions: Facing the Facts About US-Israeli Relationship” (Lawrence Hill Books, 1995) author/former Congressman Paul Findley makes the point that Israel, with the collusion of the power elite on our continent, has been successful over the decades in keeping the United Nations on the sidelines in efforts to find a solution to the Middle East problem and to create real peace:

One Response to UN Resolutions against Israel #OpFreePalestine

Absolutely astounding! The sheer number of them… It’s amazing to see how the UN is so blatantly used by the ruling elite to legitimise their actions in other parts of the world in the guise of humanitarian intervention, whilst all the while turning a blind eye to the horrors being visited on the survivors of Occupied Palestine.Everything is backwards – There doesn’t appear to be any sanctions forthcoming on ‘Israel, no matter what ‘it’ does. Yet, they saction Iran for something they have a right to do (develop nuclear power) and vilify Russia and China for vetoing their plans to ‘intervene in Syria to ‘stop’ the bloodshed’ (which, anyone who saw the horrible bloody outcome of Libya’s so-called ‘liberation’ at the hands of NATO, will totally forgive).

I applaud Russia and China for being the proverbial ‘spanner in the works’, of the great ‘Israeli Empire Expansion Programme’ and well done to the Zcompany Hacking Crew for getting the info out there!
