Very true Ken , It is nice to see someone who has the courage to speak out on subjects that are classed as taboo by most of the media.The sufferings of the Palestinian people is kept at arms length by the Zionist controlled press and TV and those responsible for keeping the lid on the daily atrocities that go in Palestine should be exposed along with the UK corrupted politicians who themselves lack the courage to defend the human rights of a suppressed people, but who are only too eager to condemn others without any proof or justification whatso ever, just so long as it is in line with the Zionist adgenda.

Yes I do.

Of course, in the overwhelming majority it’s not a problem. The feelings of specialness are moderate and contained. These are the ‘gentle Jews’ of my childhood. The problem emerges when Jews become over-empowered, and when they get a state (whether it be the U.S. or Israel) and F16s – well, you’d better watch out!.

And those gentle Jews? Their crime is that when push comes to shove, they’ll always support their supremacist fellow Jews over their non-Jewish neighbours.

Regarding Ashkenazim, yes they probably do constitute an ethnic group but all Jews are not Ashkenazim. Jews do have ethnic and racial aspects but, critically, they are not an ethnic group.

And you seem to believe that this is more common than not in Jews?

(BTW, Ashkenazim certainly constitute an ethnic group by any real sense of the term. And, until a hundred years ago, they did share a language, a race, and a land — and a religion.)

Jews are no ethnic group in the normal sense – they don’t share a language, a race, a land – not even a religion.

Jewishness is more an ideology. Hitler called them a race of the mind. I’d prefer to call them a race of the spirit.

Unrestrained Jewish ideology? Just the usual chosen-ness and ‘specialness’ gone mad.

For me, anti-Semitism is an opposition to ‘Semitism’ i.e. an opposition to an unrestrained Jewish ideology and, as such, you can count me in.

The argument that you can’t be anti-Semitic because Jews aren’t Semites is one of the weakest arrows in the quiver. See the etymology below; if you don’t like it, too bad.
