Shoa Business News – “Miss Holocaust”

Miss Holocaust

The Huffington Post reported yesterday   that “Hava Hershkovitz, 79, was crowned ‘Miss Holocaust Survivor’ at a pageant held in Israel on Thursday.”

On Thursday, in a most unusual event, 14 Jewish women who survived the horrors of the Shoa paraded vying for the honour of being crowned Israel’s first “Miss Holocaust Survivor.”

Billed by the organizers as a ‘celebration of life’, the nearly 300 women from across Israel who registered for the competition were whittled down to the 14 finalists who appeared on Thursday.

As ever, suffering, victimhood and survival were shown to be at the heart of Jewish and Israeli culture. “I have the privilege to show the world that Hitler wanted to exterminate us and we are alive. We are also enjoying life. Thank God it’s that way,” said Esther Libber, a 74-year-old runner-up who fled her home in Poland as a child, hid in a forest and was rescued by a Polish woman.

The Miss Holocaust Parade seems to be one of the last remaining opportunities to extort cash out of the elder community. Today, nearly 200,000 aging survivors live in Israel – enough to keep some businesses afloat and I guess it is only a matter of time before we learn from the Huffington Post about the Shoa bodybuilding contest. (I understand that some survivors like my great uncle Yanka’le still visit the gym once a week). Such a contest could be endorsed by food supplement and weight lifting equipment companies – ideally Germans.

Apparently, Gal Mor, editor of the popular Israeli blog “Holes in the Net,” has already envisioned such a development, Yesterday, he pointed out that the Miss Holocaust pageant was misguided.

This is one step short of `Survivor-Holocaust’ or `Big Brother Auschwitz.’ It leaves a bad taste. Holocaust survivors should be above all this,” he wrote.

Actually, I disagree. The Israeli TV should seriously consider launching such a Shoa reality-TV show. They could call it ‘Big Mirror’ and in it they could, once again, incarcerate elder survivors – but this time in  Gaza or Guantanamo Bay. Sitting comfortably on our sofas with a pizza and a beer, we could watch our Jewish heroes 24/7. And we can learn from them, the very people who survived Hitler, how to survive in our Zionized universe. Such a program would clearly yield huge revenues as well as being educational and ethically driven.

Legendary Israeli foreign minister Abba Eban must have seen it all coming when he coined his famous adage ‘there is no business like Shoa business.’

Max Kaiser very aptly asked why not a Ms Financial Holocaust Survivor pageant?
And Mr as well, and the little Financial holocaust survivors and their children to come, sponsored by Goldman-Sachs, with JP Morgan prizes… because this holocaust is going on with no end in sight

They really are nuts. What other thoughts are in their heads? A university should conduct a study on that.

Appropriate song: “Bei mir bist du schein”
The lyrics would be more accurate if they replaced ‘beautiful” with “special” but unfortunately ‘besonderes’ had two syllables too many.

Both of my grandamothers survived the ww2 , hunger, fear, poverty , cold, constant uncertainty etc. (one of them was raising 8 of her kids at the time). Both of them passed away quite a few years ago ,but I can not imagine either of them taking part in something like that. They were hard working, very humble, modest people who would never think in participating in a glittery show-off.
Miss of the Holocaust?? or maybe rather “Miss of
    the Holocaust Industry”?
There is always more money to squeeze from the nations. Which are now in line??
Poland, Latvia , Ukraine, Bielarus, Romania, Biglaria, Hungary….
Quite a pick, many to choose from.
Lets keep the “holocasust” traditions alive ,
lets make all those “holocasuts survivors” to live 100 and fifty years.
We need them to file all those lawsuits.
There is no buisness like Holocasut business.

“lets make all those “holocasuts survivors” to live 100 and fifty years.”

Not necessary. It has come to light that their children have been traumatized too: some by their parents tales, some by their parents’s REFUSAL to tell their tales.
I read that Germany agree to pay or their psychological treatment and what not.
I don’t see how these offspring will fail to pass it on to their own children.

The H. business is too good to make it stop.
The grand children will claim that they ‘ve been traumatised beacuse their parents were traumatized, and that in turn affected their “poor” lives. And the story will go on, till the end of time.
They found their Pot of Gold at the end of a rainbow. No need to look anymore.
It is enough just to whine loudly so everybody in the world can hear, write a few made-up holo-fiction stories, threaten some governments, falsify some data, info, facts and produce web of lies and manipulatios till the goyim world gives up and shakes its pockets.

    How about Holocaust fashion show??
or Jeopardy on: “Holocaust and the portable gas chambers”, or “Holocaust famous receipes” ,
    a cooking book.
They managed to make the suffering of those many people into a grotesque , Holocasut Industry propaganda shows. They abuse it so much, shove it constantly in people’s mouths that people are more than ready to throw everythin up.
Good or bad, everything just goes out.
And they could leave it only to the books like “Man’s search for meaning”.
A great, little book written by Victor Frankl, in which he does not whine on the horrors of concentrationtn camps ,instead he tries to find the reason
why life was worth preserving, in spite of the atrocites he saw on daily bases being a prisoner in the camps.

Judging by a headline in Haaretz, having overcome their phobias of soap and lampshades long ago, Jews have finally conquered the last hurdle in their holocaust trauma:

Cremation becoming Increasing Popular Among jews, funeral professionals say!

I wonder how the public would judge the “Miss of the gulag archipelago”, or “Miss of the Ukrainian Holodomor?
It looks like they are having a good time playing with the memories of all innocent, dead victims of the horrors/crimes of WW2.

Fantastic! Great thanks to Hasan, Stand for Peace, and all of those who peacefully campaigned in order to get this event called off.

PJH wrote: “It would be interesting to know whether they changed their minds after being made aware of whom they were hosting, or fearful of a thuggish demo on the doorstep.”

“Damian -I am making enquiries about this, and hope to find out something soon. Hopefully we can find out the truth of the matter. In the meantime, let’s just be glad for this small victory against hatred and fanaticism.”

Damian must be very proud of the new zionist/far right coalition

I heard that the experiences of the holocaust survivors were so horrible that people had psychological problems for years afterwards preventing them from even discussing their horrible experiences, but this is counterintuitive when you consider all the books and movies produced by survivors like Elie Wiesel, Roman Polanski, Abe Foxman and these lovely ladies.

Perhaps these holocaust survivors sat out the war in New York or London where one might assume it wasn’t as bad as in Auschwitz.

Not many people know the famous American football player Terry Bradshaw was a holocaust survivor. The New Yorker magazine wrote an article about his experiences in an article in 2009.

i know exactly how those poor guys feel. this am, got some dirt, dust or leaf debri in my left eye (why is it always the left) and it’s been watering and troubling me all day. maybe i’ll put it under the faucet and see if that helps. anyway there is too much of that flying about, and most of it is due to these selfish lazy tossers:

round them up and send them to the camps, i say!

i’m getting distracted here, but the best way to combat the menace of strong wind, high pitched russian vocalists, careless leaf producing plants, face moles and shiny black boots is to keep digging deeper holes to bury oneself in. works every time.

Oprah was fooled (once again) by Herman Rosenblatt and his wife who wrote a wrenching memoir of how they survived the holocaust (unfortunately it wasn’t true) and she had them on her show. That (and a number of other holocaust memoirs published that were also lies) prompted the New Yorker article. Herman and his wife on Oprah.

Fortunately, after receiving psychological treatment Herman is now a successful investment advisor who now handles the investments for Bernie Madoff’s former clients.

The Elie-Wiesel leitmotiv: It was not a lie, it was my imagination and in my imagination it was true.
What psychological treatment did he need to be an investment advisor? He was already perfect for the job.

the real chutzpah is when a holo- book turns out to be a plain, obnoxious , full blown fraud ,a make -believe story presented as a “real “document, a non-fiction for all goyim world to read and weep, (like in many cases– eg. Kosinky , Wilkomirsky’s book etc. and on and on), Jewish “authority figures” claim that: “it was not such a big deal, even if it is not true , it still has some sentimental-spiritual-non-existing-but-soon -to be- discovered value… ..this could /would/might/may/did/ happen, you know …with the world full of those bloody anti-Semites “. They constantly have to add more wood to the holo-fire ,once it starts to diminish a little bit.
Now,, there may be some ideas like
    ” Mr of Warsaw’s ghetto” .
