Palestinian Journalist Thug : Khaled Amayreh

Khalid Amayreh
Go over this article full of lies  (They are slaughtering Palestinians in the name of Palestine) written by the so called Palestinian journalist called Khaled Amayreh . See how readers are being served by the dubious press . See what kind of propaganda is being disseminated by Zionists . The syndrome of al Jazeera of lying publicly and openly is not restricted to Al Jazeera or Al ‘Arabiyya. Just read the headline and watch what kind of dubious message is being conveyed. The headline says : “They are slaughtering Palestinians”. It is supposed to be catchy. When you read :”They are slaughtering Palestinians” , you normally expect that this is done by Israel , but the headline says that the slaughter is done “in the Name of Palestine”. This is supposed to draw your attention that these slaughters are not committed by the usual expected slaughterer ie:  Israel but by someone else.

So much for the Headline. In Arabic we say that the content of a speech is all in the title which is true because the rest of the article is not less catchy in speaking- extensively- about how Palestinians are being slaughtered .What Amayreh has probably learned from his masters must be the usual Zionist trick to use the plight of their people as a political tool to achieve political goals . The story goes on , and the pill that we have to swallow is -of course- that Palestinians are being massacred by President Assad. The first story is a lie , the al Yarmouk Palestinian Camp was not shelled by the Syrian Army. If we tend to believe journalist Ghassan Ben Jeddu and we tend to do so , the camp was shelled by the so called opposition and the Democratic Front of Liberation of Ahmed Jibril -that is pro Syrian- was hit and other locations in the camp as well.

After this statement, the flow of lies will not stop and this is due definitely to the Zionist instructions to replace the Israeli / Palestinian struggle by the fictitious Syrian /Palestinian struggle and to replace simultaneously in our own minds Israel by Syria. Very smart trick indeed that goes very well with the pack of lies that we have to swallow because -hardly are we done with the first lie- that we bump into the next one . The liar journalist said that 20 Palestinians of the Palestinian Liberation Army were slaughtered by what he calls the Shabbiha of the regime which is- of course- another lie because the Commander in chief of the PLA in Syria : General Tarek al Khadraa said to the press that the seventeen PLA soldiers that were slaughtered were on a leave and were heading home -weaponless- when the thugs of the opposition abducted them and slaughtered them in the ugliest way .

The dubious article of the dubious Amayreh does not stop here but adds that” Palestinians and third party sources affirm the responsibility of the regime”. And who are the third party sources only God knows . They must be  some fictitious stories told by grand ma Israel.. And this is not all , because as the Arab saying goes : If you feel no shame then do as you please .And this is what our shameless journalist does , not what pleases him but what pleases his masters. And this is how- from lie to lie- we can go over the whole article.

What comes next after all this delirium is the derogatory fictitious conversation between the dubious journalist and some person called Ahmed that we are supposed to trust because he is the friend of Amayreh, Palestinian like him with a PhD from a Western University ,probably similar to that from which our liar graduated. Big deal! The conversation shows how credulous our journalist is or how naïve he thinks we are. Because, when asked why the Syrian regime would slaughter the PLA soldiers and what kind of interest the regime finds in acting thus, PhD Ahmed, who asked to remain anonymous for safety reasons – gave us a PhD answer saying that the Alawite regime knows that Palestinians are sympathetic to the opposition and against it, so – for this reason – the regime slaughtered the PLA soldiers by abducting them on their way home and cutting their throats. Wonderful answer!

Still our journalist wanted to show us more of his professional skills by asking more questions to his PhD anonymous about the Palestinians’ positions regarding the actual events to which PhD answered –thoroughly- that it is of neutrality adding : not only the position of Palestinian refugees in Syria but that of all Palestinian factions for the purpose of protecting Syria’s refugees . By saying this our journalist seems to forget the anti Assad demonstrations that roam Gaza almost daily and Haniyya ‘s statements delivered in Turkey where he addressed the Syrian opposition saying that his heart was with them and that HAMAS leadership stood by them. Big deal! We ask our dubious author of dubious affiliations – How are Palestinian Refugees in Syria being protected when Palestinians have joined in big numbers the armed thugs to the point that they form the largest Arab group in the gangs active on the ground?

Finally -after all these delicatessen offered by the dubious author to our delight -comes in the main dish that is non less delicious , and you can guess that it is made of pure sectarianism cooked with the utmost care by the greatest Zionist Chefs to be enjoyed by all . This is where the creativity of our writer comes to full blossom and you can swallow his words letter by letter that say : It is the Shi’as who kill in Iraq and everywhere , they kill Syrians and Iraqis and Palestinians mercilessly , the Shi’as are the great killers of all times and the great criminals ever witnessed who have been engaged in killing Arabs for a decade now !

Zionists –of course – couldn’t be served better .There comes a whole sect that can strip them of their bloody reputation as slaughterers and exterminators- by excellence- thanks to some dubious Palestinian journalist who has sold his soul to the devil!

There are many things like you that catch my attention about this so called article.

First and most important is as you say the title.

They are slaughtering Palestinians in the name of Palestine

One would think fro m the title that the subject of the article is going to be Palestinians, but this is a red herring. The title is a trojan horse title appearing to say one thing whilst delivering another.

An so the article proceeds to reveal itself to be an Anti-Syria anti-assad propaganda mash-up.

What is most significant about this piece from and SEO point of view is how it has been seem to have been written to maximise the SEO and google hits as possible,

The website is http://www.palestine-info.co.uk/ and the title of the article.

They are slaughtering Palestinians in the name of Palestine

That is 3 Palestine references before the article has begun – very clever stuff.

IN the ‘article’ that follows there are 7 mentions of Palestine and and 7 of Palestinians and 12 of Syria.

To me eye this article looks like its been written to convince Palestinians that Syria is evil and needs overthrowing, plus the organic SEO built in will bring it lots of traffic. Rubbish article / misinfo but professional SEO.

the article is obviously hasbara to incite hatred towards the syrian government. what you say about the seo and term frequencies is interesting. his titles often seemed to be worded clumsily or strangely. thanks for pointing this out, i would not have picked it up. i would imagine professional hasbarats are coached in how to max seo, along with the other tricks of influence and persuasion.

Will Amayreh continue to lead his sectarian campaign through deLiberation? Should he stay here to make deLiberation a sectarian-anti/ sectarian platform? Does he add to our credit and deliberation? If not , why is he still here ? Let the CIA and the Mossad pay for their propaganda . Should we cater to lies because of democracy or should we stand by truth? Are liars representative of anybody including their own families or themselves ? Does Amayreh represent himself ?

The question is whether he can engage – so far all he seems to have done is rant and insult. Having told us that there was about to be an elimination of sectarian moderators, and that he would be reporting us to the founders, he is a bit stuffed cos the same moderators are still here and there is no-one else left to appeal to.

I do think that if he is interesting enough to have a thread about, then his views should continue to be scrutinised. If he chooses to say that he isn’t posting because we have become a dump for propaganda from the ‘axis of evil’ then that is partly of his own making – as articles by him continue to be displayed prominently on the site.

I think he’s too chicken to post here though…..

His website looks fake to me as well, many of his articles look reverse engineered.

Clearly he was no James Bond, but his effect on deliberation with L looked deliberate and coordinated and the effect was to fill up the website with pro SYrian overthrow pieces by him.

It occured to me we were being used to distribute this propaganda and i started to get wound up by it….

Was he just a Stupid Sectarian hating Muslim acting alone or was he encouraged… who can tell.

I am not saying he or L were Zionists but some of their stuff has a zio-twist to it.

          Maybe they are subconscious AZZ.

When sectarianism/anti sectarianism becomes the isuue then we are two steps behind. Instead of Lebanon acting it would be considering whether it is one or two Lebanons. And there is no end to this discussion and no timing . when Lebanon is attacked , the sectarian issue should not arise and should not hinder the resistance. Men and women Christians and Muslims and Jews -if there were any- are to unite facing the enemy.
The issue is how do we all together find reason and strength to defeat our oppressor.
Amayreh should be put in a circumstance where he is prevented from spreading the poison of sectarianism ,the logic of our defeat.
After the war is over and we have survived against the desires of Amayreh and the enemy , it would be proper to treat people like him and treat that matter without risking our existence.
to discuss sectarianism in Syria now is self destructive and in Iraq also , previously no one asked about religion in Syria . Nobody knew or cared whether the other was Christian or Muslim and it was a shame to try to find out.

“I hope it [regime change] will happen, even though I don’t know when or how,” Meridor, who also serves as the deputy prime minister of the Tel Aviv regime, said on Tuesday. He further expressed “hope” that the “new Syria will understand that joining Iran is a mistake that brings isolation from the Western world.” The latest remarks by the “Israeli” official come as anti-Syria Western regimes along with Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar have been supporting insurgents inside Syria.

I must admit, I think this article takes this Khalid guy a bit too seriously. I doubt his ravings are a product of “the greatest Zionist Chefs”. If Israel can divide its opponents by posting stuff like that on websites, they are in a sorry state.

When people lose the compus, its difficult to tell who is an agent and who is not.

The mob began to hurl insults. Then rocks.

“Death to Alawites!” they shouted. “We’re going to burn you all down!”

    Then someone fired a gun.

“They were there to kill us,” said Servet Evli, who was hiding in his bedroom with his pregnant wife and terrified daughter, both so afraid that they urinated through their clothes.

As Syria’s civil war degenerates into a bloody sectarian showdown between the government’s Alawite-dominated troops and the Sunni Muslim majority, tensions are increasing across the border between Turkey’s Alawite minority and the Sunni Muslim majority here.

Interesting article, Roy. Thanks for the link.
This, also from the article, makes me sad:

““Do you really believe these guys are going to build a democracy?” asked Refik Eryilmaz, an Alawite member of the Turkish Parliament. “The Americans are making a huge mistake. They’re helping Turkey fight Assad, but they’re creating another Taliban.”

Why is it so many people still think the US is “making a mistake” in the sense that they don’t realize that instead of bringing democracy they will end up creating another Taliban?
Why don’t they realize THAT is precisely what they want, no mistake about it. The last thing Israel and the US would want in the region would be democracies and least of all with a secular government.
It is only through fanning the flames of sectarian conflict that they can fragment and control them.

“It is only through fanning the flames of sectarian conflict that they can fragment and control them.”

Indeed, and this is what I find fascinating about Khalid and his “Forget Israel, Forget the USA, Arab must fight Arab” approach. It makes me wonder, if he was in Turkey would he have been hurling the rocks, firing the guns or baying for Alawite blood. What would he have done to make that little girl wet herself?

I don’t think he or Laura are Zionist agents, rather the term ‘useful idiots’ springs to mind. What I’m really unclear about is who is feeding this stuff into their heads….. and how.

Who is feeding them? There are ‘agents of influence’ in all ostensibly pro-Palestinian or pro-what have you groups working to direct the discontent and ire where they want it to go.

Yeah – there is quite a major difference between how KA expresses himself in his op-ed pieces, and how he expresses himself in comments. I nearly spat my coffee on the screen when I read that, after some of the comments by him that I have read.

If he is insistent on trolling comments he should really learn to use a sock puppet – after all it isn’t the first time his comments have exposed him to his detriment:

Amnesty International, MEMO and the Palestinian writer who calls Jews ‘kikes’

He was forced to apologise for that one. I bet that hurt :-D

after a splash of cui bono = the usual suspects rhetoric to establish credentials, we get two proposals:

the Palestinian side will have to take maximal measures to secure, as hermetically as possible, the Egyptian borders, in order to cut off the fingers that tinker with the security and stability of Egypt.

Hence, Egypt should immediately demand the restoration of the right to deploy its armed forces all over the territory (Sinai) to see to it that security is maintained.

i don’t know about the politics, but the image of cutting off fingers recalls an unpleasant practice of the British forces in Egypt during WWII.

            FOOTNOTE FOR AFICIONADOS

the fingers leitmotif been primed by several earlier references:

there are treacherous fingers lurking in the dark, trying to undermine the stability of Egypt

with the further, confusingly semi-gnomic comment:

And while we don’t know exactly at the moment who directs and controls these fingers, it is by no means hard to predict their identity.

as we reach the climax of the author’s detective work, there are signs that the finger-metaphor is becoming overstretched:

there are two main considerations that make this writer tend to point an accusing finger toward Israel

perhaps someone has been told to get their finger out?!

its a windy road that blows up nobody good! – anon

The term ‘useful idiots’ is over-used (mea culpa). Better to say “In my humble opinion, emphasising the horrors of the Syrian regime distracts attention from the far worse threat posed by Israel” instead. “Feeding this stuff into their heads”. That’s cult-talk. Of course, you could answer this comment by saying I’ve had this argument ‘fed into my head’.

“Better to say “In my humble opinion, emphasising the horrors of the Syrian regime distracts attention from the far worse threat posed by Israel” instead.“

Except that would be a gross misrepresentation of Khalid’s position, which is that ‘the hitler of Damascus’ is far more evil than Israel and that is what people should be focusing on….. In his own words:

“It is probably more urgent to eleminate Sghiite thugs and agents, who are working for Israel and Rusia, than to destroy Israe.”

            go figure!

yes harmful idiots, though perhaps harm is too gentle a word for the havoc and carnage they leave in the wake of their imperial ambition. might we say toxic?

and perhaps to say they are idiots is disrespectful to idiots, who are generally harmful by accident, by their being given or assuming responsibilities they are ill-equipped to exercise.

the paymasters and their lackeys who launch evil crusades are not incapable of thought. but they have exchanged their moral compass for the glitter of a fleeting treasure.

To which Jay Knott replied: ” “Feeding this stuff into their heads”. That’s cult-talk. ”

As it happens KA has provided some clues in another recent article:

In recent months and weeks, Islamist preachers began giving sermons on the need to identify with and support the Syrian revolution.

Moreover, homilies have been given in mosques educating worshipers on the “heretical nature” of Al-Assad’s Alawite sect, which has dominated the political scene in Syria for the past 45 years.

On Friday, a preacher at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem called the Syrian regime “murderous, evil and godless”.

“The regime of Bashar Al-Assad is the enemy of Muslims, the enemy of humanity and the enemy of God. We pray to the Almighty to speed up victory over this criminal regime.”

Another preacher in Hebron described the regime as “much worse than Israel”.

“We have been living under the Israeli occupation for many years, but we haven’t witnessed the kind of things we watch on TV,” said the preacher, alluding to the gruesome images of death and destruction in Syria.

Similarly, Hamas’s media outlets, including radio and TV, have markedly changed their tune in favour of the Syrian revolution.

I think he himself qualifies as an “Hamas media outlet”…..

“When they say what they think, that’s “feeding stuff into people’s heads”, and when you say what you think, it isn’t?”

Its so long since I preached in a religious service, that I can’t even recall it Jay! In fact I’m not an accredited religious leader at all, which is unsurprising as I am not a member of any religious group.

If in your world people who attend religious services are not affected by the content of the sermons, then I can see why you might be so perplexed. It is probably useful at this point to ignore the training that religious leaders undergo, and the hierarchical structures in which they work, so that we can then deduce that the viewpoints they are expressing are purely private views which they express entirely independently of each other, no? It is then mere co-incidence that KA and the mullahs of Hebron and Al-Aqsa mosque are all using the same terminology.

Obviously if you believe that the dissemination of propaganda doesn’t work, then you won’t agree with me.

If it helps you to unpick it – when you write:

“You say there are mullahs in Palestine who argue that Assad’s regime is more brutal than Israel”

if you check my post carefully you’ll find that I said no such thing. I merely quoted KA.

But reflecting on this “Assad’s regime is more brutal than Israel” – I wonder exactly how Israel might react if Palestinians took up widespread armed resistance with the help of fighters from neighbouring countries who had slipped over the borders in their thousands, and were being armed by the enemies of Israel.

The very thought that they would use gunships, missiles and bombs where the armed resistance were operating might be preposterous to you and KA, but I think they might make Assad and his regime which “is the enemy of Muslims, the enemy of humanity and the enemy of God” look frankly amateurish…….

Ariadna: “Why don’t they realize THAT [Taliban-style rule] is precisely what they want, no mistake about it. The last thing Israel and the US would want in the region would be democracies and least of all with a secular government.”

This article, and a number of the comments, assume it’s all a big conspiracy, and attribute superhuman intelligence to the Israelis, and human intelligence to the people who rule the USA. The fact that the USA’s policies sometimes result in hardline Islamic regimes doesn’t mean they plan it.

The conspiratorial approach shifts one’s errors to the enemy. The American people are excused for their support for war in Afghanistan and Iraq – the poor little darlings were manipulated. Sunni sectarianism against Shi’ites is blamed on Zionism, though it started long before Zionism was a twinkle in Herzl’s eye.

Of course not, Jay. Israel does not have superhuman intelligence–it only has a neoplastic intelligence service that has metastasized in all the Western countries.
The US is neither dumb nor evil. The US policies –as every child knows –aim to spread democracy. It is only a sad irony that they have–how shall I put it best?– no partner for democracy in the countries to which they lend a helping hand. So it ends up looking — but only LOOKING — like the US is supporting Islamic fundamentalism (Saudi Arabia), or authoritarian, despotic regimes (the shah, Mubarak) or military juntas (South America).
What can I say? You know the old adage about taking a horse to the water.

This “child”, Alex disagree with you. The US is both dumb and evil. The US itself is not a real democracy (pepsi or cook.)
The US is looking for its interests. Fullstop.
Unless you believe that the US was looking for democracy in Chili (Silvador Alendi), in Iran (Massadak), In venezuela (hugo chavez)

Jay prefers the ‘empirical’ approach which seems to mean that you simply ignore what the USA has done time and time again, and focus on what it claims to be doing this time.

Its a bit like x’s mum, who every time he beats another girlfriend, wonders what she has done wrong this time. Meanwhile just about everybody else who knows x thinks he is a misogynistic wife beater…..

              Alex, when Ariadna writes:

this is another example of irony. a rather clever one, since it actually uses the concept of irony in an ironic fashion.

what is indisputable is that, even now, US politicians use ideas like ‘freedom’ and ‘democracy’, in support of actions which an unbiassed observer might describe as the brutal and predatory use of military power for the purpose of robbery.

what one might call counterfactual rhetoric is the stock-in-trade of set-piece presidential speeches. we have similar officially sanctioned lies and deception in the UK, particularly when leaders address their party conferences.

so in the name of Almighty Gawd, from Whom so help me, let us stop this small-minded niggling.

let us refuse any more to belittle the giant strides in peaceful diplomacy that have been made by Israel and its partners in nurturing fledgling Arab democracies –

then, and only then shall the Liberty Clock be allowed to strike midnight.

then, and only then, will we join hands and find the strength to move proudly forward together, with unflinching courage and unquenchable determination.

then, and only then, will we be equipped to rope ourselves together with the golden cords of Freedom, to climb the Mountain of Hope and finally to gaze in childlike wonder on a future which all people, regardless of color or creed, can have a share in – a Promised Land overflowing with coke and big macs, stretching as far as the eye can see. God Bless Amerika!

tumultuous applause and flag-waving from the most politically sophisticated electorate in the world. several TV pundits briefly faint with joy.

    Why don’t they realize?

difficult question. but in one ancient tradition there is this prophetic utterance, which might equally apply to various groups in our contemporary scene.

    “Make this announcement to Israel,
    and say this to Judah:
Listen, you foolish and senseless people,
with eyes that do not see
and ears that do not hear.

Have you no respect for me?
Why don’t you tremble in my presence?
I, the Lord, define the ocean’s sandy shoreline
as an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross.
The waves may toss and roar,
but they can never pass the boundaries I set.
But my people have stubborn and rebellious hearts.
They have turned away and abandoned me.
They do not say from the heart,
‘Let us live in awe of the Lord our God,
for he gives us rain each spring and fall,
assuring us of a harvest when the time is right.’
Your wickedness has deprived you of these wonderful blessings.
Your sin has robbed you of all these good things.
Among my people are wicked men
who lie in wait for victims like a hunter hiding in a blind.
    They continually set traps
    to catch people.
Like a cage filled with birds,
their homes are filled with evil plots.
And now they are great and rich.
    They are fat and sleek,
and there is no limit to their wicked deeds.
They refuse to provide justice to orphans
and deny the rights of the poor.
Should I not punish them for this?’ says the Lord.
‘Should I not avenge myself against such a nation?
    A horrible and shocking thing
    has happened in this land—
    the prophets give false prophecies,
and the priests rule with an iron hand.
Worse yet, my people like it that way!
But what will you do when the end comes’?”

it is Jeremiah 5:20-31. the ref got chopped when i cut-and-pasted.

truth-tellers were as popular then as now. according to the article in Wikipedia, based on the biblical book:

God’s personal message to Jeremiah, “Attack you they will, overcome you they can’t” was fulfilled many times in the Biblical narrative, Jeremiah was attacked by his own brothers, beaten and put into the stocks by a priest and false prophet, imprisoned by the king, threatened with death, thrown into a cistern by Judah’s officials, and opposed by a false prophet. When Nebuchadnezzar seized Jerusalem in 586 BC,he ordered that Jeremiah be freed from prison and treated well.

perhaps he was a Babylonian agent, then? in that case his criticisms might be less than objective. still, to my untutored ear they have a ring of plausibility. and he is regarded as a major prophet in our familiar triad of monotheistic religions.

The truth is that this person ‘ Amayreh is not really a sectarian Sunni or a fanatic anti Shi’a , this person is simply getting paid for saying what he says , he is simply on the payroll of some corrupt Gulf prince ; we make a big mistake by considering him a Sunni taking a radical sectarian stand against Shi’as . We must take him for what he is , a bribed journalist who gets paid for exposing the other sect . Sometimes he says unbelievable things and you know that he’s doing this to get an increase in the pay , You can feel him choosing the words that will call for a better pay .Had he made money out of exposing a different group , he would have exposed this group . The same mistake we make about the Syrian opposition thinking they have a religious or sectarian stand while the great majority among them gets paid for what they do and for what they say . Here comes in handy the saying of al Hallaj : “The god you worship is under my foot “ and under his foot was a golden Dinar. That is –finally- the god ‘ Amayreh and his like worship and that is the sect they belongs to.

I did not see any evidence that anyone who read his hate-filled garbage on deLib took him for a religious man of any kind, only for playing one. He prays to his pocket only.
