"a line attributed to Emma Goldman, “If I can’t dance it’s not my revolution.”

Some lines are so great they're irresistible, irrespective of the source.
I often say "a line attributed to Idi Amin, "It tastes like chicken."
So it is with Ema Goldman. It doesn't matter that she was the quintessential zionist assassin and terrorist avant la lettre, that raised in an ultra-orthodox Lithuanian jewish family she became a selective atheist writing vitriolic anti-Christian pamphlets, that she was as good an internationalist as Trotsky, fighting for the cause of the proletariat by consorting and associating exclusively with jews.
What matters is that the saying attributed to her is kind of cute, it makes her sound playful (although by "dance" she may have meant "assassinate") and that it will go over very well with progressive jews. Use it often, use it soon.
