My Life

by Ethan Larudee
Wednesday, September 26th, 2012

I’ve been walking on eggshells most of my life

to keep balance in this life of trife

years of agony is like a knife

in my heart

going to school was the hardest part

slowly now I’m living like I wanna

the world is turning and I’m getting what I put in from

before

hard work makes you live life more

people in my face were like a sore

but I’ve grown and adapted to be hardcore

look at the people who used to boast

now they’re on a couch poppin their toast

I’ve done more than I’ve ever imagined

and I still have skills and plans to make things happen

as you can see I’m writing this poem

so I can reach to you and everybody to show’em

I wanna die with my eyes open

So I get every little bit out of life I’m knowen

what lies ahead for me

right here right now is where I be

glad I made it to this pen I see

Tweedledum and Tweedledee

is where I left off recently

when I was in jail reading books,

drawing pictures, writing songs, working out

I didn’t stop my evolutionary

process

In thus

which is the most important thing for all of us
