Women with strong political opinions have been very active in the revolutions sweeping North Africa and the Middle East. Also here in the U.K. we have Muslim women taking a strong political position and participating in all levels of politics and society. One sister who is part of a new generation of Muslims raised here where free speech is enouraged, is causing a lot of discussion in Muslim circles as to the correctness of her method of delivery.
I really wish that those who are so concerned about the idea of a woman speaking out, could actually be more concerned about the message and finally wake up to the reality that there is a war on Islam. We are all Palestinians waiting for the Arab revolution to reach the U.K. and liberate us from Zionist oppression.

“and finally wake up to the reality that there is a war on Islam.”
and part of that war against islam is being fought by phony “freedom fighters” against the people of syria who are paid in dollars and work for israel.

I know there is a war on Islam, on true Islam, the revolutionary Islam, not on American Islam.

Laura, you are not “Palestinian”, she is not your “sister”, and not everybody is wating for “arab revolution to reach the UK”.
And not only arabs are affected by “zionism oppresion”.
Your empty, populistic rhetoric is quite repulsive, and your politics of trying to divide (and conquer?)people is very low.

Searching you fail to understand that in Islam there is no nationalism, we are one Ummah. The lady is indeed my sister in Islam. Who are you to say that we in the UK do not live in a Zionised society with a Zionised government.
Every post is going to have Syria comments on it now is it? Even if it is not about Syria?
The level of comment has really gone downhill with open nastiness very evident. I don’t have much time to read the comments although when deLiberation first started I did try to read them and I enjoyed them when I could, but now I am not going to spend much time reading comments or replying, there are better things to do.
I notice Paul has left the comments section – I miss his comments but I don’t blame an intelligent gentleman like Paul for leaving such an uncivilised bunch to squawk and scratch amongst themselves.

stop saying “we” , speak for yourself , in your name. You do not represent the whole islam community of the world.
you are spreading your b.s. marxists’ ideas of : “there is no nationalism in islam”…blah, blah. Palestinians fight for their country, Palestine, Syrians for Syria, not for Qatar or Yemen.
Not only muslims live in Zionised societies with a zionised governments. Many ,inluding other religions and ethnic groups, are affected by it. Stop making it a solely muslim’s problem.
if you don’t like our comments about your position on Syria then refrain from making your own.
many here do not share your views on conflict in Syria, and we are allowed to express it. Considering the fact that yours 100% agrees with MSM zionised opinions ,one may seriously wonder about you and your views.
You are allowed ,of course ,to express your views but we are allowed to criticise them , especially that they represent views of the traitors of our civilisation.
The traitors, who try to destroy one country after another trying to achieve their goals of starting WW3 and installing global government.

personally ,I treat all positions that support so -called rebels/mercenaries supported by cia, m16, mossad and USA/nato military as treacherous.
In my eyes you are a traitor ,Laura.

What happened to “I hate the sin but love the sinner”? Why can’t it be applied here too as: I hate the comment but I will not attack the commentator personally. You need to pipe down, searching.
In a world in turmoil with millions of people disagreeing with other millions, if you apply the label traitor to one side or the other, then you really dilute its meaning.
“Traitor” is an inappropriate word here. Seriously, look it up.

I don’t hate Laura, I just hate (dislike) her opinions on Syria, and what have you.
In a way she is a sort of intellectual /virtual traitor by suporting the same forces that she seems to be against it.
I don’t understand why she is doing it? Ignorance?? ill will?? fanatism?? blindness?
I don’t know, but I know that what is going on in Syria right now has nothing to do with fighting for freedom and peace.
It is a massive acitivity of foregin ,hired, global forces that aim to bring down the current government, destabilize the country and prepare it for attack on Iran.
it is a crime agsainst not only Syrain people, it is a crime agiasnt all of us, against humanity. there is no buts, ands or ifs in that matter.

BTW ,” we” will lose,” they “will win.
Syria will be conquered and Iran will be attacked soon after.
don’t ask why I am saying it, but I have very strong feeling this will happen.
Unlicensed prophetic visons??

“..Contrary to popular opinion in the West, Assad is not hated by the Syrian people. There is more anti-Obama sentiment in America than there is anti-Assad sentiment in Syria. The “Syrian opposition” is a mysterious composition.
It consists of, “a small collection of mercenaries, foreign fighters, and sectarian extremists, armed, funded, and directed by foreign interests solely to wreak havoc within Syria,” writes Tony Cartalucci.
The NATO-backed terrorist gangs and fanatical murderers are causing chaos in Syria.
EVERY freedom-loving individual in the world should STAY CLEAR of the falsely labeled “Free Syrian Army” like the PLAGUE.
The Western establishment media is playing the most EVIL role in the Syrian war. Washington is waging its war against Syria under a thick layer of propaganda smoke provided by government-controlled media channels and newspapers..”

That’s zionist response: “others countries are worse or as bad as I am, why focus on poor Israel. So…. are you a zionist?
See how easy it is? No need for that.

what is you problem?
you attacked Gilad with your silly accusations, now you don’t like to be reminded of it??
own it,lady.
plus, it was not the only time when you did it, so your position is a sort of a “pot calling the kettle black”.
do not try to act like a saint if you are far from it.

“pot calling the kettle black”
OK, Kettle, turn the stove off.
“do not try to act like a saint”
Is that what it takes to make you pipe down with your personal attacks? A saint? OK, pick one you approve of and let’s invoke him/her
fool me once...

“you attacked Gilad with your silly accusations, now you don’t like to be reminded of it??”
AT didn’t attack Gilad. She was just talking in a relaxed casual manner to someone she respects, and in no way set out to offend Gilad. Of course he’s gonna get a bit tetchy now and again as he’s under a lot of pressure and with hindsight, probably regrets his over sensitive response. Maybe you too are feeling wound up as your comments appear to be getting progressively more opprobrious, which to a degree is understandable as the subject matter is very serious. In a discussion/debate there’s got to be room for everyone’s point of view to be heard?
Now, as to invoking a saint to help with the proceedings, with respect to the laying down of pipes and smoking, how about St Julien or St Bruno, the patron saint of pipe smokers.

The idea that there is one, mono-islamic bloc is incredibly naive view. Sectarianism is a real issue.

http://www.infowars.com/cia-supported-syrian-opposition-massacres-civilians/
“…On Friday, the Syrian news agency SANA reported that at least 25 people were killed and their bodies mutilated by the FSA or an associated terrorist group in northern Syria. The victims were abducted Darat Izza in the Aleppo province. “The terrorist groups in Daret Azzeh committed a brutal massacre against the citizens, whom they had kidnapped earlier in the day,” SANA said.
The story was virtually ignored by the establishment media in the United States.
On Wednesday, a diplomat at the United Nations, Major General Robert Mood, praised the FSA for its “efficacy.” Mood is a Norwegian major general and heads up the United Nations “peacekeeping” Supervision Mission in Syria. He suspended operations because Syria insisted on maintaining its sovereignty.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told Charlie Rose earlier in the week that the United States is working with the FSA and other opposition groups and attempting to turn them into a force capable of overthrowing the al-Assad regime. “We’re also working very hard to try to prop up and better organize the opposition. We’ve spent a lot of time on that. It’s still a work in progress,” she said…..”

I quite like the video, but some of it may be actionable libel, I hope they have evidence for their claims.
Who me said it well at the beginning of this thread.
So one could argue that Our Syrian Brothers and Sisters are part of this Jihad of which you speak.
In fact on could say is the Syrians that are at the forefront of ths Jihad being at the intended front of the Zionazi war.
