Galloway Versus Falsification Of The Cause

g-galloway
The BDS strikes again and as usual it sides with Israelis and Zionists against pro Arabs and pro Palestinians . Now this is not something new for BDS since previously they had accused Gilad Atzmon of being anti semitic . Imagine a bunch of Arab intellectuals, on the payroll of dubious organizations- like Soros institutes – and coordinating with Israelis, boycotting West bank dates while enrolling in Tel Aviv Universities, accusing Gilad Atzmon of being anti semite instead of defending him and promoting his ideas and his experience of an Israeli soldier who rejects the usurping state of Israel and calls for the restitution of Palestinian rights .

BDS stood against Atzmon pretending that his ideas about Jewish culture endanger the Arab cause, as if they knew what Jewish culture is, not to speak of the Arab cause of course . A bunch of rascals that is what they are ! No doubt that the BDS has lost direction totally and are embracing the Jewish cause – that is not their cause by the way – and joining the anti semitic chorus that has been singing the same tune since post WWII..

Lately, in the encounter that opposed PM George Galloway to some dubious Israeli student boasting about the right of Israel to occupy the West Bank, whereby Brother Galloway left the debate , BDS took another shameful position of defending the Israeli student versus the long time friend of all Arab Causes, the committed friend of Arabs- including those of BDS – ie PM George Galloway .

Of course someone like George Galloway who spent half his life defending Arabs – whether Iraqis , Palestinians or- lately- Syrians and Bahrainis – does not need to be endorsed by BDS people . But it makes one get out of his senses hearing them- with their uptight Zionist attitude saying – in defense of the dubious Zionist Student – that they do not boycott Israeli individuals which is a big lie in itself since they have been exposing Gilad Atzmon for his views on Jewish culture to which they have no clue of course .

No doubt that the BDS works for the western establishment and not for Palestine, and the Western Establishment has got nothing to do with Palestinian rights; and no doubt that they need to show their masters of EU and Soros and company , that they are well behaved and not transgressing the limits prescribed by their Zionist masters while pretending to have become universal !

You should hear BDS joining anti Semitism to Islamophobia ! You should hear one of their brains called Abunima defend the Wahabi Sheikh al Oraifi and his fatwa related to raping Syrian girls !!How wonderful and impartial on behalf of the New Zionists who have hijacked the Palestinian cause to turn it into a commodity that serves Israel and gives Israel the legality it always lacked .

Thank you BDS for turning the Palestinians cause into a fruitful business and a promotion for the barren intellectuals that you are , thank you for giving legality and legitimacy to the usurping state of Israel, thank you for never mentioning the armed struggle and never paying tribute to the armed Resistance of Hizbullah who liberated Lebanon. Thank you for being sectarian and anti Syrian.

Thank you BDS for projecting on the Palestinians – who are rotting in camps for 6 decades now- the status of disadvantaged Israeli citizens that are segregated against. . Thank you also for boycotting dates while never trying to stop normalization and recognition. Thank you for talking about return and never working for it , and thank you BDS for turning the Palestinian plight into a masquerade of fruitless functions and door to door activities undertaken by NGOs in occupied land in coordination with Israelis.

Thank you BDS finally for siding with Israel and showing us your true self and thank you for not supporting George Galloway for George Galloway has everything to gain from this!!

    I’m familiar with the incident but not with BDS defense of the dual national Israeli. Can you provide some references?

    the usual whinge:

    Aslan-Levy later told the Daily Mail that “[Mr Galloway] clearly had a problem not because I am Israeli – I’m sure he would have talked to an Israeli Arab, he didn’t want to talk to me because

    I am an Israeli Jew

    .”

    He argued that the Respect MP should discontinue his membership of the House of Commons. “I absolutely do not think someone with those kind of views should be allowed to continue as a Member of Parliament”, he said.

    the hasbtrolls have had a minor field day with this!

    however they miss the point as usual. that Israel is in so many different ways morally repugnant and a blemish on humanity. time they should know what people feel.

    The using of anti racist policies and projecting these policies on the Palestinian/Israeli struggle on behalf of BDS is very misleading and misplaced and is not called for and comes to cater to the taste of the western establishment rather than promote Palestinians’ rights . They should not have exposed themselves and Palestinians to these accusations that are alien and unrelated to the Palestinian condition . The Israelis did not occupy Palestine and chased out Palestinians because Palestinians hate Jews or are racists , nor did they do that because Jews hate Palestinians .The Palestinians are victims of Israelis and of Israel racist policies . The Palestinians want to retrieve their land and houses and are not interested in the race of the occupier . These anti racial claims of BDS have no place in the Palestinian struggle and shed a light – rather – on BDS Israeli involvements and adopting Israel racist policies in justifying what it does to Arabs and Palestinians by using the anti racist argument. This is extremely dangerous on behalf of BDS and sheds a light on its true identity. The Arabs are in a state of self defense against Israel . If Israel happens to be a Jewish Zionist State , this does not mean that Arabs are racist and should not be construed because it is irrelevant and a totally uncalled for issue .

    This is extremely clumsy on behalf of BDS and an Israeli stand by Excellence. This would involve the Palestinians in a cause that is not theirs . If a thief comes and robs you , you don’t dwell over his race or religion , you are concerned with what has been taken from you, and so the judge will not try the thief according to his color but in relation to the act of theft . Palestine has been usurped and stolen . What difference does it make if the thief is from this or that color or this or that religion? It makes no difference . especially if the thief is accused of theft alone. The BDS operated a very serious dangerous shift by dwelling on Israel’s racist policies and promoting Israel as a racist state substituting one struggle for another struggle and depriving Palestinians of their real cause and linking them to activities and functions that are not theirs . For This reason also the sectarian alignment of BDS is now showing , it is also to impose another cause, this time religious, on the real cause which is that of a nation and a people.

        George Galloway’s explanation of why he walked out of a debate with an israeli brought up a reoccurring theme here on deLib, that of, what is a jew? Race or religion?
        When discussing this topic the normally clear, erudite and unambiguous GG is all of a sudden turned into a self-contradicting, please-all muddle head.
        At 5:28 mins George says;
        “neither am I talking about jews. It’s got nothing to do with judaism. Some of the greatest jews in the world are regularly on the same side as me in this argument. Professor Noam Chomsky is a jew, Professor Norman Finklestein is a jew, Illan Pappe is a jew. There are many brilliant courageous jews who stand against israel and with Palestine, so it’s nothing to do… I knew of course the young man I was going to be debating with was jewish, from his name. I have no problem at all, how could I as a life long campaigner against *racism, how could I have any problem with jews any more than I could have a problem with any other *religion? But I’ll tell you this and israel supporters watching this really ought to take note, The British people and I suspect the American people and the people around the world are becoming very very tired of being accused of anti-semitism because we oppose the crimes of the political regime called israel. We are very tired of it. It’s absolutely false and it’s really beginning to be more than irritating. And if you genuinely have the best wishes or the best intentions towards jewish people, as I do myself, you really ought to stop conflating these two questions. You really ought to stop seeking to assert the false synonym that jew equals israeli and that israeli equals jew, this is a false synonym. Many jews are against israel. Most of israel’s supporters are not jews. Most zionists are not jews. Not all jews are zionists and the attempt to conflate these two subjects is simply unacceptable. And I think that we need to debate this and seriously, because I think this is the shape of things to come. We must ostracise and Boycott israel in the way that we ostracised and Boycotted apartheid South Africa.”
        At 28mins George says;
        “All Arabs are semites. And so to accuse Arabs or someone closely identified with Arabs of anti-semitism is, as a matter of language, absurd. But of course it’s worse than that. It’s accusing people who are opposing israeli racism, israeli apartheid, of racism themselves. *Judaism is not a race, judaism is a religion.* I could become jewish, that would not make me a semitic person. And if you hated me, it could not by definition, be because you were an anti-semite. And a religion does not have a right to a country. If all the catholics in the world, all 700 million of them, declared that they were going to live in Rome, well that would play havoc…etc”
        At 31:31 mins George says;
        “There are also a very significant number of progressive secular jews who want nothing to do with this so called israel, who don’t accept at all that israel is theirs that they are israels, that israel speaks for them. If they are in Britain they are British, if they are in France they are French. And they insist on their equal right to citizenship in Britain and in France. *And protection from racism and anti-semitism, hatred of jews.* ”

    Daniel and Roy – both very good points. and although on different aspects of the theme, both illustrate how easily the interest of truth and justice are pushed aside by the media in its endless campaign to trivialise issues by placing what is irrelevant or actually skewed or false centre stage.

    when disaster strikes there is the endless round of “human interest” angles. a mother has lost a child. she is grieving. let her grieve in peace.

    this becomes much worse when it is cynically manipulated as part of the psyop surrounding a false flag act of terror.

    i noticed in the Oxford Cherwell a preponderance of pro-Israel anti Galloway comments. one shamelessly accused Galloway of being a bully – no thought to the massive hyper-bullying that has been Israel’s behaviour.

    there is little point in arguing or debating with people of this ilk. it just helps them acquire a spurious aura of legitimacy.

    their minds are closed – as a mind has to be when it has committed to a world-view entirely based on lies and self-serving half-truths.

    there is an irony in that George G recently criticized Bradford MP David Ward for insensitivity over his Holohoax Day comments. now he is under a similar lash himself. however George is careful to criticize Israel and zionism and not Jewish Power as such. i find that somewhat disingenuous, though it can perhaps be supported by “pragmatic” arguments.

    however Israel did not just appear from outer space.

    so where did it come from? who supports it, or refuses to criticise it? who is responsible for the imprisonment of Irving, Zundel or the forcing of David Cole into hiding?

    the most wheedlingly stench-laden form of Jewish hasbara tripe is very much in evidence on the so-called Jewish SHIT list: who provide this crass summary of the contributions of a great musician and humanist:

    ” When this Israeli-born musician isn’t blowing his soprano sax and clarinet in his adopted England, he’s sucking up to Arab/Muslim Nazis. Gilad Atzmon does not like Israel and sees the country of his birth as an “immoral, colonialist terrorist state.” He has lots of other opinions. In essence, he is single-handedly bringing up to date the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. In his own words…”

    people who write such tripe, whatever tribe they may belong to – because it is not only khazzers – the eager shabbat goyim learn quickly from their perverted paymasters – should be sent to live in special communities where they can share their mind-filth with their own kind and stop fucking with the minds of the naive and easily-duped.

    offence against truth is offence against God, nature, humankind and intelligent life everywhere. purveyors of Holohoax mythology take note. retribution will come.

      Perhaps it is also time to tell the truth about National Socialism so that attacks like the one shown above upon Gilad Atzmon lose its effectiveness.

    A Comment on Galloway’s Oxford Walk-Out
    by weareallhanashalabi

    As activists in Scotland who campaign in support of the global movement for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel, we feel it is necessary and important that we distance ourselves from the actions and statements of George Galloway MP last week.

    The incident, in which Galloway walked out of a debate at Oxford University claiming that he would not debate with an Israeli student, received much attention across mainstream media in the UK and internationally. Galloway later defended his actions, posting on Twitter: ”Israel: simple, No recognition, No normalisation. Just Boycott, divestment, sanctions.”

    Whilst Galloway is respected as one of only a few voices in mainstream British politics to have publicly supported anti-imperialist struggles and has been a vocal opponent of Israel, he is clearly not a political ally of those individuals and organisations who have embraced Boycott as a peaceful, non-violent and more importantly anti-racist tactic for challenging Israeli apartheid.

    Whether or not one agrees with Galloway’s decision not to debate with an Israeli student is irrelevant; the fact remains that there are clear guidelines for exactly who and what is and is not ‘boycottable’, and a statement released this week by the Boycott National Committee affirms that ”BDS does not call for a boycott of individuals because she or he happens to be Israeli”.

    Galloway has a history of misrepresentation and false reporting on BDS. During a lecture at Glasgow University in 2011 he proudly announced that French multinational company Veolia – who are the target of BDS campaigns around the world due to their complicity in Israel’s occupation of East Jerusalem and the West Bank – had dropped all of their contracts in Israel and were therefore no longer a complicit company.

    Unfounded and poorly researched claims such as those posited by Galloway are potentially damaging to everyone working to secure BDS victories and raise public awareness about international complicity in Israel’s numerous crimes. Recent action taken by students at Edinburgh and Essex Universities to shut down talks by Israeli politicians fall completely within the guidelines for Boycott, as these individuals are paid representatives of the Israeli state. Galloway’s misuse of the BDS name may have created a more difficult political climate for student BDS activists, yet principled actions such as those in Edinburgh and Essex will continue. We hope the whole episode serves to increase engagement with the guidelines, strategic aims and discourse of the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement.

    Here is the full statement released last Thursday by the Boycott National Committee:

    ”The Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), the largest coalition of Palestinian unions, mass organisations, refugee networks and NGOs that leads and and sets the guidelines for the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement, supports all principled action in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for freedom, justice and equality that is in line with universal human rights and international law.
    In its 2005 BDS Call, Palestinian civil society has called for a boycott of Israel, its complicit institutions, international corporations that sustain its occupation, colonization and apartheid, and official representatives of the state of Israel and its complicit institutions. BDS does not call for a boycott of individuals because she or he happens to be Israeli or because they express certain views. Of course, any individual is free to decide who they do and do not engage with.
    The global BDS movement has consistently adopted a rights-based approach and an anti-racist platform that rejects all forms of racism, including Islamophobia and anti-Semitism.
    These guidelines and the fact that BDS has been initiated and is led by Palestinian civil society are major reasons behind the rapid growth and success that the BDS movement has enjoyed around the world.”
