Farewell To Arms

A New Army Of Activists For Promoting The System

When Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize, every one thought this was misplaced and undeserved for his rule had just started and he could not be awarded since he had not yet proved himself in the peacefull realm that he was promoting. Actually a new era of wars with the connotation of peace had started, the demand for peace and change will be met and all the people shall be recruited for this objective. This is how, armed with his Nobel Peace Prize, Obama resumed what his predecessors had started, waging wars everywhere but within a new frame of promoting peace consistent with the change in the name of which he came and at the cost of the lives of many innocent civilians Afghanis and Pakistanis. The war on Libya alone caused more than 60 thousand victims among civilians, he did not even close Guantanamo as he had pledged.

Similarly, two days ago Yemeni female activist Tawakkul Kirmaan received 1/3 a Nobel Peace Prize that she shared with other recipients as a reward for her promoting human rights in her country and fighting for civil liberties. Of course this award will not raise the objections that the Obama award raised, but it should not be treated altogether differently seeing the miserable situation that has afflicted Yemen lately: civil war, civil conflict, war on terrorism, political chaos and unknown destiny. Is this situation to be rewarded? Are the people who contributed intentionally and deliberately – through the internet or by working on the ground- into creating this civil unrest in their own country to be rewarded ? And in what way did they share in spreading peace and promoting human rights? Isn’t the right to stability and security a basic human right starting from which all other rights are to be acquired? One might object that there are always victims in revolutions and instability and unrest caused by the desired change, and that is the price revolutions have to and are willing to pay, this -of course- provided we have a revolution in Yemen.

The truth is that most of these activists we are seeing around and who are praised by the media and rewarded by the establishment are not genuine ones, they have not developed the kind of personal awareness regarding the local social problems and social issues out of their own experience and real commitment that are connected with the reality of the social surrounding conditions and circumstances; they act according to foreign agendas and import the problems and issues raised and dictated by the establishment, the cause they claim is not theirs, they do not express and feel directly the human plight of their co citizens, every issue they raise has been pointed out and dictated by their masters and sponsors in the NGOs and embassies and other organizations that seek dominance over the world by hiding behind civil liberties and human rights, these people are not activists, they belong to the world order by all means, they are like the banks or the International Monetary Fund, they are not on their own, they are hired and rewarded by the same order who appointed them and appointed Obama and defined their mission and their job.

In Lebanon we have plenty of those, they could all be candidates to Nobel prize like Obama and Kirmaan, they work under the label of women’s rights and equality and secularism and equal rights and social security and environment and you name it and their aim is to confiscate these rightful demands and issues and place them under the authority of some dubious organization where they will be used to serve the end and purposes of these organizations at some defined moment and place. This is the reason that the world problems are multiplying, and their multiplication is proportional to the growth in size and number of these organizations that were initially established to solve them and have hired for this purpose a huge army of peace activists recruited among some educated youth with foreign and western aspirations that are forming the new powerful means using which the new world order has succeeded in infiltrating deeply most societies and threatening thus- from within-these societies with instability and deep unrest.

  1. you are wrong , this civil spring unrest and destabilization is being financed by Al Saud , If they had any doubt that this will spread to them they would have stopped it immediately . These revolutions are like the emperors’ dress and nobody has a doubt about this . It has been agreed on to call these civils unrests Revolutions but they are not and no one is cheated, What kind of Revolution can be financed by Saudis and with NATO ? If some day US decides to do away with al Saud , this would be a coup and not a revolution , CIA is Not Guevara ,and Sheikha Moza is not Rosa Luxembourg ? something has gone wrong with human minds these days.

  2. The people of Syria Yemen Bahrain Egypt etc rose up and protested exactly for the reason of acquiring human rights and freedoms, in some countries they are achieving this but where there is sectarianism they are not.

Do you blame this sister for the failure of the Yemeni revolution to achieve it’s objective? How does this sister take the burden of blame for the failure of the revolution?
