Human society suffers many deadly ailments. One of these ailments is the formation of religious and sectarian groups that are being set against each other, charged and fueled with hatred while being mobilized along religious, cultural and sectarian differences that has taken place on the ideological level for an extended period of time. For this reason we have now many human societies instead of one, with some people calling for a Muslim Nation, and others for a Jewish or a Hindu one while most people have forgotten the fact that the other is either your brother in religion or your brother in humanity and -in both cases- the relation between you two is that of brotherhood.
The religious differences do not necessarily mean religious conflict, but are rather the capacity of one religion to expand and complete itself through relating to the other and associating and identifying with it. How can one who does not encompass these differences and experience their unity rule others? And as in the physical body the administration of this body does not belong to one organ or part but to the whole of the body, similarly, the administration of members of different social groups should belong to the whole of society and serve them all as one. For this reason, the administration of Face Book which is monitoring here these relations between members across cultures, religions and nations should be able to act equally in the name of all and be representative of all and cater to the unity of all.
Unfortunately, what we see here, on Face Book, is the opposite, since what we find – instead –is an fb administration that promotes these differences in cultures and religions and exploits them to serve the political schemes of the world order. This means that this administration does not qualify to administer the relation and ways of communication between members, the administration of such facility should be in the hands of administrators who have these qualifications of bringing members together and having them explore their tendencies to unite and stand together and support one another regarding the human issues ; an administration of people who are elected and chosen by the people themselves and not imposed by Intelligence Services as the case of fb. The administration of fb falls totally short of achieving the real purpose of relation and communication and communion between members, and whatever little is achieved on this level is due to the exertion of the members themselves despite fb administration and its damaging policies.

The real role of facebook and twitter during the Arab Spring has been to post up to date information about what is really happening. This was particularly evident in the Tunisian uprising where there was virtually no t.v. coverage other than the state. A lot of terrible incidences have been caught on mobile phone cameras, something that human rights groups in Palestine have promoted often giving cameras to Palestinians to capture abuses on. In countries with dictatorships the information coming out from mobile phone footage has been the only source of information other than State t.v. propaganda channels. Syria is the only country out of all the Arab countries I have spent time in where I had to hand over my passport in an internet cafe and which they photocopied before I was allowed to use the internet.

A lot of disinformation is published via these mediums as well.

facebook possibly (likely) involved in fraudulent advertising scam:
http://www.rt.com/news/facebook-social-media-startup-scam-ads-554/
“Facebook’s advertising rates are based on the number of clicks a company’s ads receive. Limited Run alleges that the ads were not clicked by real individuals, but rather by automated bots – internet software applications programmed to repeat automated tasks.
The company, formerly known as Limited Pressing, also claimed that the social media giant would not allow it to change the name of its Facebook page unless it committed to buy $2,000 of monthly advertising. “Facebook was holding our name hostage,” the post said.”
jp uses bots in various of its webscams, from ddos attacking sites to spamming comments at news and current affairs site. i don’t doubt they also run very organised criminal money making schemes using bots. facebook is part of jp, why should they be any different? it’s easy money.
