“Edge of Fear”: Sabra and Shatila Massacre

30 years ago today, carnage broke out as for three days the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila came under attack. “Edge of Fear” was first screened on the first anniversary of the attack, and contains some fascinating footage and eye witness accounts. 30 years later there is still no justice for the people of Sabra and Shatila.

    The Israeli government established the Kahan Commission to investigate, and in early 1983 it found Israel responsible for the event. Ariel Sharon was held personally responsible for allowing the Phalangists into the camps.

    One does not have to be a rocket scientist to realise that the root cause of all the conflicts in that region are because of this usurping zionist entity occupying Palestine.
