From Ghassan Ben Jeddu : The shelling of the Yarmouk Palestinian camp in Syria was not at the hands of the Arab Syrian Army but at the hands of the so called Syrian Free Army and the shelling was targeting the bureaus of the Democratic Front of Liberation of Ahmed Jibril but it hit the civilians instead and the Syrian Arab Army has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Did someone mention angry arab ….?

As far as remember a secterian asked about him, and I told her that he is a borm-Shiite, I would add that he, anti-Assad like all sactarians.
BTW, Taliban is not an Islamist trade mark, there is Talinan in all relogions besides secular/leftist Taliban. They all claim to hold the ultimate truth.

Very good article from Dr Khoury-Macchoul describing the situation in Syria and its environment and the causes of the actual turmoil that made Syria the center of the world because it had succeeded in preserving its unity in addition to its national integrity and internal security and has not compromised over its priorities and has been stable in defending the legal Arab rights whether Palestinian or Lebanese or Syrian. The fact that it has not been involved in striking shameful deals with the enemy but has instead supported and backed fully the Resistance of the people made it in some way the leading country of the Arab world because it has succeeded in preserving what we call the constants of the nations , by which we mean primarily , the stand against Israel

i should have mentioned this before, but i agree with jonathon, the article is brilliant. probably the most informative piece i have read yet on what is happening in syria, and the region, in general, along with the background to the strategy jp/western corporate fascism is using.

who_me, i agree with your thoughts on the use of the term regime. at an exhibition i attended in London at the time of the first Gulf war an Irish artist had captioned a photo of Westminster:

the political wing of the British Army

a delightful satire on the way Sinn Fein was always referred to on the (unbiassed) BBC.

as mentioned i don't see much MSM, but in BBC radio news i have so far never heard a spokesperson for the Syrian government/regime. this seems a little odd. unless, G_d forbid, we are being sold a false picture. all the Beeb have, apart from experts from various CFR-sponsored academic hamster-farms, is the odd correspondent reporting from the Beirut Hilton, and pieces from various RADA-trained 'anonymous activists' at unverified locations supposedly within Syria.

the whole process is an obscenity, though one that impinges on the British consciousness only peripherally, three or four orders of magnitude lower than the latest twists in the tormented but entirely fictional fates of the Eastenders

the first casualty of war is lies.
