Did Rebekah Brooks Threaten David Cameron?
A very telling interview with Rebekah Brooks at the Leveson Inquiry in Britain. Looks like the power elite are going to make a sacrifice of Rebekah Brooks and her partner to appease the public’s desire for justice. Meanwhile the Murdochs are long gone & Cameron is on show tomorrow. The questions are what does Rebekah know, and will she use it against Murdoch and Cameron now that she faces possible prison time?
“Give me another word for threat” asks Lord Leveson.
“Persuasion” responds Rebekah quickly.
What is clear is that if average member of the public had tried to threaten/black-mail people, or bribe policemen they would be in serious trouble. But when its “News International” involved, everyone looks the other way.
Some related Tweets on the whole sordid affair.
RT @jon_primett: Rebekah Brooks is shameless, how dare she talk about witch-hunts and media bias when she was the high-priestess of both …

#RebekahBrooks must be very confused, #MetPolice take cash bungs from her employer & then arrest her later when they’ve spent the money

She thought she was above the law, she thought the end justified the means, she thought she was an untouchable powerbroker #RebekahBrooks

That’s no simple girl, she’s a witch! Burn her, burn her!
On a serious note that’s a brilliant cover on Private Eye, almost worth buying the issue for!
She of the broomstick and ducking stool fame are pictured posing with John Hopkins and her familiars.
