Circumcision of Children Is A Crime – Germany

circumcision

A court in Germany has ruled that parents may not have their children circumcised on religious grounds because it is in fact – Minor bodily harm without consent. The move has angered Muslims and Jews alike who adhere to the Abrahamic Covenant with God; which boils down to something like – In order to feel part of the chosen crowd men must be circumcised.

The physical descendants of Abraham received a token of the Abrahamic Covenant – circumcision. Abraham was told by God in Genesis 17:10 (see notes), “Every man child among you shall be circumcised.” God adds in verse 11, “…it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.”

Strangely, most people are agreed that F.G.M (Female Genital Mutilation) is Haram (Forbidden), yet M.G.M Male Genital Mutilation is perfectly OK. The reason that is generally cited is that it is for religious traditional reasons  and therefore “encumbant upon all men” to be circumcised in order to maintain good relations with … GOD.

In Britain in May two men were arrested in Birmingham who were offering F.G.M to Muslims. According to reports upwards of 20 000 women are at risk of FGM in Britain. Depite the furore surrounding FGM, Male Genital Mutliation carrys on regardless. But Germany is waking up to what is a Human rights Issue.

The court in Cologne decided that a legal guardian’s authority over a child does not allow them to subject them to the procedure, which the court called minor bodily harm, reports The Financial Times Deutschland.

Various religious groups have hit back, claiming that it is a restriction of their religious freedoms. It will be very interesting to see how the religious groups respond to this development and whether this ruling will affect other countries attitude towards this practice.

Well to call what you see on the TV news is false and an insult to seekers of the truth. 1. There are people who on religious grounds refuse to let their children be vaccinated–others refuse even medical treatment–but for these the law, at least in the US, in uncompromising: they are forced to do that which is deemed to be in the interests of the child’s well-being and health. Society (the majority opinion) agrees with the law.
Yet a barbaric practice like genital mutilation is viewed differently.
If MGM were practiced only by muslims it would be outlawed in no time flat, like FMG. It is only the Jewish political clout that protects this barbarity.

  2. From the American MSM:
“One would have thought that a German judge would have been a little more sensitive concerning the religious practices of Jews. It also seems a little politically incorrect for a European to trample on the rights of Muslims.
One of the hallmarks of western democracy is that a central principle is the freedom of people to practice the religion of their choice, or no religion at all. In America especially, this freedom is enshrined in the Constitution as part of the First Amendment. America’s freedom of religion was part of a reaction by the founding fathers against the imposition of state-run churches in Europe.
After World War II, the part of Germany that remained free of Soviet occupation made great pains to show its tolerance to the Jews Germans had not managed to slaughter. Since the 1950s, Germany has paid reparations to the state of Israel and survivors of the Holocaust. Relations between Germany and Israel remain generally friendly, despite support of the German government for a Palestinian state.
dpa suggests that the German court has done something that statesmen and diplomats for decades have generally failed to do: It has brought Jews and Muslims together, united in outrage against the ruling. German Christians and non-believers should join in this outrage. The stench of religious bigotry and intolerance reeks too much to behave otherwise.”

So… Germans are reminded they are after all Nazis and worse have shown signs of sympathy for the Palestinians, Americans that they have freedom of religion, muslims that they are in this together with the jews, Christians and “non-believers” are asked to become indignant at the stinking bigotry.
But this is published in the US, so… nothing addressed to specific groups, like gays? Nothing to blacks?

  3. Austria to uphold the circumcision ban for all religious chops.

The People’s Party (ÖVP) State Governor of Vorarlberg province in Austria Mag. Markus Wallner, instructed hospitals run by Austria to suspend circumcisions motivated by religious custom. The decision came after a German regional court ruled ritual circumcision amounted to criminal bodily harm. He told provincial hospitals Tuesday not to perform the procedure except for health reasons until the legal situation is clarified in Austria.

  4. Interesting that they did the proceedure in hospital though because in the UK you have to find someone to do it privately. I have three friends who are surgeons and they do circumcision in peoples homes. Hospitals in the UK only do circumcision where there is a medical need. Banning such a thing will only take it underground and leave young boys with serious problems on the rare occasions where bleeding occurs and they need to go to hospital.
In Egypt they banned pharonic female circumcision, it immediately went underground and led to the deaths of young girls from the after effects of the rusty razor ladies.
The majority of Muslims in Germany are Turks and they wait until the boy is about 12 to do circumcision which I find cruel, I find it less traumatic for the child to do it at a few weeks like they do here in the UK.
