2 weeks after I broke with what on the surface looked like a whimisical view on hacker life. Called Cyber Wars – CIA gets Hacked.

It detailed how

f3nix_h4ck3r

had done a recon (penetration testing) of the CIA website.  Well It looks like the report was fruitful because the CIA website has been completely void for over 2 hours. That is not good, for an intel operation. #justsayin

    It was an impressive use of a distributed attack in order to occupy all of the their bandwidth available to the site.

    It would have been more funny if they’d had been able to hack their security though… unless the DOS attack was a distraction? :)
