“Mueller was indicted following a report he filed in response to an incident at a Manchester, NH high school last year that ended with 17-year-old Frank W. Harrington being slammed face-first into a table and detained for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Video footage of a school police officer picking up Harrington and assaulting him were leaked to Mueller, who followed up on his own and attempted to interview a Manchester police captain, the Manchester High School West principal and a school secretary as part of his investigation into the incident. Mueller later used samples of those recorded phone interviews in a video report of the incident that he published to his website, and although he says he identified himself as a member of the media when approaching those officials for comment, he has been charged with felony wiretapping for allegedly putting those conversations on tape without expressed permission.

I was not being facetious, as Who-me thinks, neither is it an issue of not having done “research,” least of all in wikipedia.
Think about it: the function of a lobby is to move a political or other body in the desired direction by influencing, convincing, bribing, threatening, coercing. The jewish lobby no longer needs to exercise that function because it has swallowed the Congress, made it into its own image and IS the congress.
The current function of the lobby and its affiliates now is to be the SECRETARIAT of the Congress: they prepare position papers, white papers, communiqués, etc. There is NO RESISTANCE, because the congress is now a disciplined body following directions.
From time there might appear an intractable one like Kucinich. No problem: they redistrict his ass away and get rid of him.
The lobby does not even offer money now: the representatives BEG for it by competing with each other over who is better boy or girl, the way Romney and Obama do. As I aid before: is there a lobby needed for the Fed? No, the Fed IS he lobby. How about the media? Same? Enyertainment industry? Same.The game has moved a lot further than you seem to acknowledge.

i suspect that ariadna was being a little facetious or sarcastic about the jewish/israeli/zionist lobby and the u.s. congress and that her premise of the lobby being retired/obsolete was not altogether a serious proposition.
